Duane has over 24 year's experience as an investment advisory representative. Prior to joining Steward Partners Investment Solutions (formerly Umpqua Investments), Duane was Vice President-Wealth Management with Smith Barney for over 10 years in the Portland, Oregon branch. Prior to Smith Barney, Duane was Assistant Vice President-Senior Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch in Portland, Oregon.

Duane graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Management in 1989. While in college Duane was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and served in many different executive level positions within the fraternity. Duane also played club level golf and tennis in college.

Duane is a native Oregonian and he and his wife Deanna live in downtown Portland and spend much of their free time playing golf and traveling to Oregon wine country..
